Educating the Whole Child in the Digital Age

“Educating the Whole Child in the Digital Age” addresses one of the growing questions of our time: How to prepare children to live full lives connected with one another both online and off.

Journey School Foundation is proud to announce two special engagements to address this concern:

Join us as we gather renowned experts, educators, parents, and community stakeholders to engage in ongoing dialogue on how to best prepare students to thrive in a digital age, empowered with the skills to be ethical, resilient, and confident digital citizens.Through these events attendees will be introduced to our proven Digital Media Literacy project, also known as CyberCivics™.

About Journey School Foundation

The mission of the Journey School Foundation is to support, sustain and grow Journey School.  The Foundation delivers innovative, powerful programs built upon its core mission to make an integrated, whole-child Waldorf education accessible in the public realm. Most schools that utilize this teaching methodology are prohibitively expensive for middle-class families; Journey, as part of a larger movement of over 1,000 schools, strives to make this transformative education accessible to all.

About Journey School’s Educational Philosophy

Our global society faces progressively more complicated challenges and there is an undeniable urgency to educate children for the 21st century. Journey School’s instructional program draws upon the time-tested yet innovative Waldorf educational model which is then merged with the educational standards of the State of California. We are committed to educating the whole child and foster the unfolding of each child’s true potential. Our methods place equal emphasis on a solid academic foundation, artistic expression, social development and attention to the inner life of a child. Read more on our school website >>
