Enrichment Programs
Enrichment programs are offered on a few days per week after school and fees vary depending on the program. Program leaders offering enrichment opportunities are typically specialty teachers at Journey School, however their after school enrichment programs are not affiliated with Journey School or managed by Journey School. If your child is currently enrolled at Journey School, please see ParentSquare for a current list of offerings.
Childcare Programs
Childcare programs at Journey School are more extensive than enrichment programs and are offered during the school year from dismissal until 5pm and for 6 weeks during summer months. Little Acorns is a kindergarten childcare and Strategic Kids offers childcare for students in grades 1-8. Little Acorns is affiliated with and managed by Journey School; however, Strategic Kids is an organization that is not associated with or managed by Journey School, although they serve Journey School students using school facilities. Please note that these are fee-based programs, however financial support and free access may be available for eligible families through the school’s Extended Learning Opportunities – Program (ELO-P). Please email info@journeyschool or the agencies directly to inquire about ELO-P access.
Little Acorns (Kindergarten Child Care)
The Little Acorns program is designed to be an extension of the Journey kindergarten day. The program takes place in the kindergarten play yard, the front play yard, and the kindergarten classroom, and provides a warm and familiar environment, with ample time to rest and play after lunch.
