Mrs. Klevit is originally from San Diego, California and attended UCLA for her undergraduate studies. She earned her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from CSU Fullerton and has a Single Subject Authorization in English and History. She has a supplementary Reading Credential, and is CLAD certified.
Mrs. Klevit has taught in both private and public schools, where her motivation has always been to create a loving, safe environment that enables each child to thrive. She loves guiding students as they discover their unique abilities and passions and is excited to be a part of their Waldorf education where each child can explore and grow their physical, creative, emotional, and intellectual selves while providing a source of strong community.
Mrs. Klevit has a passion for theater and enjoys traveling, hiking, yoga, paddleboarding, working in the garden, and cooking. She and her husband Richard have two children, Anna and Daniel, and love hanging out with them any chance they can.
She is excited to work closely with you to ensure that your child has a fabulous year filled with personal and academic growth, and is honored to be a part of Journey, and such an amazing community of families.
